Appeal from the Chamber – Supporting Makprogres is Supporting the Macedonian Economy

09/09/2025

On Friday, 12 September 2025, the President of the Economic Chamber, Branko Azeski, will hold a meeting with retail chains to discuss what form of campaign will be carried out through the retail sector, with the goal of boosting sales of the products of Makprogres Vinica—creator of a series of proven and recognized quality brands (Vincini, Sunny Valley, Natura, Donia, Fantasia) as well as many products produced under private labels of leading retail chains in Macedonia.

The idea behind this joint and united business activity, organized by the Chamber, is to support Makprogres following the fire that seriously destroyed part of the company’s property, equipment, and capital, while taking into account its already well-established reputation as an exporter.

Stimulating increased domestic consumption of Makprogres products—according to the company’s management and in coordination with the Chamber’s activities—can provide crucial support for ensuring the survival of the factory, but above all, it is the only way to retain all employees at their jobs, thereby preventing any negative impact on workers and their standard of living.

The concept for the future operations of Makprogres, as well as details regarding Saturday’s events at the factory, will be personally presented to the attendees at Friday’s Chamber meeting by the head of Makprogres, Gligor Cvetanov.

At the same time, judging by the widespread posts and calls on social networks in support of Makprogres, and the various initiatives encouraging the purchase of its products from individuals, influencers, and prominent public figures, it can already be noted—just two days after the unfortunate incident (the fire at the factory)—that this is an extraordinary occurrence: the creation of a truly positive public atmosphere. This only reaffirms the stature and quality of Makprogres as a Macedonian domestic brand, for which the company’s management expresses its profound gratitude to all those who have selflessly initiated and shared ideas for support in recent days.

As Makprogres head Gligor Cvetanov stated: “The solidarity we have witnessed in these days once again confirmed that Macedonia knows how to stand together when it matters most.”

Let us remain united and stand in solidarity!
