The fifth generation of the Academy for Entrepreneurship and Management, part of the Progressive Academy Foundation in Vinica, has officially started its training program, opening a new chapter in the development of future leaders and visionaries in business. The program will run for six months, with participants including company representatives and individuals from the region, as well as respected and active members of the Economic Chamber.
Branko Azeski, President of the Economic Chamber and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Progressive Academy, emphasized that this institution represents a pillar of modern managerial and entrepreneurial education in the country. He underlined that initiatives like this create new generations of leaders who will drive development, innovation, and competitiveness in the Macedonian economy.
Gligor Cvetanov, CEO of Makprogres Group in Vinica and member of the Academy’s Board of Directors, told the young graduates that they are proof Macedonian business has a future. With the awarding of certificates to the fourth generation of graduates, another cycle of education and practical preparation for young entrepreneurs and managers was completed. According to Cvetanov, they are now ready to respond to modern challenges.
Speaking before both the fourth-generation graduates and the new fifth-generation students starting their training, Cvetanov stressed that the Academy holds special value for him personally. He explained that he himself had gone through many management training programs, which prepared him for critical moments when life and business put you to the test—referring to the factory fire some twenty days ago that destroyed one production facility and three warehouses.
He pointed out that this crisis was a stark reminder that every business carries risks. At the same time, it provided the greatest lesson: that the principles taught at the Progressive Academy make the difference—speed of decision-making, determination, perseverance, and leadership. He expressed confidence that all those graduating from the Academy are prepared to become exactly that kind of leader—those who will not break under pressure, but emerge stronger.
The Academy’s program covers business strategy and processes, organizational transformation, corporate innovation, marketing and sales, finance for top management, and leadership and business communications.
It also provides a unique opportunity for networking with managers from different companies and industries, enriching participants’ knowledge through active discussions and idea exchanges.
The Academy for Entrepreneurship and Management is part of the Progressive Academy Foundation in Vinica, whose vision is to develop skills through high-quality educational programs, strengthen technical knowledge, offer accelerator programs, and foster research and development activities. Its mission is to enable the personal and professional growth of managers and business leaders by applying the latest global trends and knowledge in management. It is the first certified program in entrepreneurship and management in Macedonia, with official accreditation from the Center for Adult Education issued in July 2021. Since then, more than 40 candidates have completed the program and obtained a public certificate issued by the Ministry of Education and Science.
