A delegation from the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia (ECNM), led by President Branko Azeski and including Vice President Prof. Dr. Nikica Mojsoska Blazhevski, and Board Members Aleksandar Manev and Prof. Dr. Darko Lazarov, visited the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia (NBRM) today and extended congratulations to the newly appointed Governor, Prof. Dr. Trajko Slaveski.

NBRM is a key partner of the private sector, which is represented by the Economic Chamber, and the new Governor has maintained continuous collaboration with the Chamber throughout the years.

The discussions during the meeting focused on the core functions of the National Bank, including maintaining price stability, ensuring exchange rate stability, supervising the banking sector—which plays a vital role in business operations—and tackling the grey economy as well as cash circulation within the economy.

At the end of the meeting, the delegations agreed to hold the next session in the first half of July at the premises of the Economic Chamber. It was also agreed that such meetings should become a monthly tradition, with Vice President Mojsoska-Blazhevski leading the group responsible for organizing and coordinating the Chamber’s activities going forward.
